自1988年以来,本课题组应用基因工程技术对DNA多态性进行分析,取得良好效果。这一技术避开了基因产物,直接研究遗传物质本身──DNA的多态性,具有准确、分辨力高、不受基因表达过程影响因素干扰等许多优越性。在医学遗传学某些遗传病的诊断、基因连锁分析、疾病相关性分析、人类学、自身免疫性疾病、人类免疫调控、亲子鉴定和法医学个体识别等方面均具有广阔的应用前景。这些技术的实际应用已取得了明显的社会效益。
