Advanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 45, 13 August 2026.Nanocellulose, derived from microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) through sulfuric acid hydrolysis or mechanical grinding to produce CNC or CNF, was tested in a rat ICP model. Particularly, CNF improved gut microbiota composition, reduced secondary bile acid metabolism, and restored bile acid homeostasis through modulation of the gut–liver axis.

We identified a positive correlation between ETV1 and CAFs infiltration in TIMER2.0, and overexpressed ETV1 predicted a poor prognosis in patients from TCGA.
