Relational peace versus pacific primacy: Configuring US strategy for Asia's regional order

open access: yesAsian Politics &Policy, Volume 15, Issue 1, Page 141-152, January 2023., 2023
Abstract This article challenges the presumption that American commitment to the greater Indo‐Pacific region has positive effects on regional stability. It argues that the degree to which America's strategic choices in Asia embrittle or consolidate peace depends on how they intersect with relational configurations of regional order.

Effect of type 2 diabetes on A disintegrin and metalloprotease 10 2型糖尿病对解整合素金属蛋白酶10表达的影响

open access: yesJournal of Diabetes, Volume 14, Issue 6, Page 394-400, June 2022., 2022
Highlights a disintegrin and metalloprotease 10 (ADAM10), a sheddase responsible for the cleavage of a variety of cell surface molecules, has been implicated in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease, atherosclerosis, and inflammatory and neoplastic disorders, and systemic ADAM10 concentration may potentially be used as a prognostic biomarker. Our study

Are psychiatric disorders associated with thyroid hormone therapy in adolescents and young adults with type 1 diabetes? 青少年和青壮年1型糖尿病患者的精神障碍与甲状腺激素治疗有关吗?

open access: yesJournal of Diabetes, Volume 13, Issue 7, Page 562-571, July 2021., 2021
Highlights Several psychiatric disorders were associated with levothyroxine therapy (LT4). Depression, anxiety disorders, and attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder showed the strongest relation to LT4. Thyroid autoimmunity itself (no LT4) was not associated with psychiatric disorders.

Comparison of Olanzapine versus Other Second‐Generation Antipsychotics in the Improvement of Insight and Medication Discontinuation Rate in Schizophrenia

open access: yesGeneral Psychiatry, Volume 30, Issue 3, Page 178-187, July 2018., 2018
Background In the last decade, olanzapine became widely used in mental health service worldwide even after being criticized for its metabolic side effects. Patients with schizophrenia on olanzapine were usually found to stay on their medications longer than the other second‐generation antipsychotics (SGAs) except clozapine.

Hypokalemia Caused by Quetiapine and Risperidone Treatment in Schizophrenia: A Case Report

open access: yesGeneral Psychiatry, Volume 30, Issue 3, Page 204-206, July 2018., 2018
Hypokalemia can cause abnormalities in multiple systems. Long term use of antipsychotic medications can lead to electrolyte imbalance, including hypokalemia. We report a 49‐year‐old female patient with schizophrenia who developed hypokalemia after oral quetiapine and risperidone treatments.

Novel Non‐Equimolar High‐Entropy Zirconates With Superior Thermophysical Properties

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Rare‐earth zirconates (RE2Zr2O7) are promising candidates for topcoat materials in thermal barrier coatings (TBCs). However, their practical application in TBCs is limited by poor fracture toughness and low thermal expansion coefficient (TEC).

SWEET1‐mediated glucose transport is crucial for energy availability in Arabidopsis

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 249, Issue 4, Page 1816-1830, February 2026.
Summary The stress‐responsive hormone abscisic acid (ABA) is known for its inhibitory effects on various physiological processes, including seed germination, often resulting in energy deprivation. Interestingly, ABA‐induced germination inhibition can be alleviated by exogenous glucose (Glc), mimicking a functional interplay between ABA and sugar ...

Achieving Superior Mechanical Properties for Al‐Zn‐Mg‐Cu Alloy by Coupling Design of Powder Press‐Forming, Deformation, and Aging

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Enhancing the strength of 7000 series high‐strength Al alloys remains a critical challenge to meet the demands of increasingly demanding service environments. In this study, a novel approach is proposed for developing high‐performance Al alloys through a combination of powder mechanical alloying, powder press‐forming, rolling deformation, and ...

In Situ Tailoring of FCC Ductile Phases for High‐Strength Wear‐Resistant Crack‐Free W‐Based Metallic Coatings

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Tungsten is inherently brittle and particularly prone to thermal stress concentration and crack formation during additive manufacturing processes such as laser cladding, which severely limits its engineering applications as a coating material. To address this issue, this study proposes an in situ toughening strategy involving the introduction ...

Digital Nationalism in Comparative Perspective: Trump Blaming China on Social Media in the United States and China

open access: yesNations and Nationalism, Volume 32, Issue 1, Page 57-74, January 2026.
ABSTRACT This study presents one of the first comparative analyses of digital nationalism on social media. Using a computational mixed‐method approach—combining supervised, computer‐assisted content analysis with network modelling—it analyses 64,541 tweets from Twitter and 91,063 posts from Weibo surrounding a shared geopolitical flashpoint: President ...
