Compliance with World Health Organization's COVID‐19 guidelines among Iraqi health workers

open access: yesWorld Medical &Health Policy, Volume 15, Issue 4, Page 537-543, December 2023., 2023
Abstract During the COVID‐19 pandemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) introduced guidelines with respect to hygiene practices, quarantine policies, and medical practices for health institutions to follow. Most studies examining compliance with WHO guidelines have been conducted at individual level but not at institutional level.

Histopathological characterisation of trunk‐dominant canine pemphigus foliaceus, and comparison with classic facial and insecticide‐triggered forms

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 34, Issue 5, Page 425-440, October 2023., 2023
Background – While the clinical features were described recently, the histopathological characterisation of trunk‐dominant canine pemphigus foliaceus (PF) is lacking, and whether it differs from classic facial or insecticide‐triggered PF is unknown. Hypothesis/Objectives – This study describes the histopathological findings of trunk‐dominant PF, and ...

Observing and interpreting clinical process: Methods and findings from ‘Layered analysis’ of parent–infant psychotherapy

open access: yesInfant Mental Health Journal: Infancy and Early Childhood, Volume 44, Issue 5, Page 691-704, September 2023., 2023
Abstract This paper describes a method for investigating clinical process, Layered Analysis, which combines therapist countertransference reports and multi‐faceted microanalytic research approaches. Findings from the application of Layered Analysis to video‐recorded micro‐events of rupture and repair in four psychoanalytic parent–infant psychotherapy ...

Twin‐Wire In Situ Additive Manufacturing of NiTiNb Eutectic Alloys: Eliminating Unmelted Nb Particles and Tailored Superelasticity

open access: yesRare Metals, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A major challenge in fabricating eutectic NiTiNb alloys is the incomplete melting of Nb due to its much higher melting point than the NiTi matrix. In this work, a novel electron‐beam freeform additive manufacturing strategy is developed to eliminate unmelted Nb particles and achieve a fully eutectic structure through independent dual‐wire ...

Advances in Elemene Nanodelivery Systems: From Material Design to Disease Treatment

open access: yesRare Metals, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Elemene (ELE) is a bioactive sesquiterpenoid extracted from traditional Chinese herbs, demonstrating broad‐spectrum antitumor, anti‐inflammatory, and analgesic properties with significant therapeutic potential. However, its clinical utility is constrained by inherent physicochemical limitations, including volatility and hydrophobicity, which ...

Dual‐Stage Heat Treatment for Enhanced Hydrogen Storage Properties of Mg−Ni−Y Alloys

open access: yesRare Metals, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mg−Ni−Y alloy is considered to be one of the most promising hydrogen storage materials, but its high dehydrogenation energy barrier hinders its practical application. A dual‐stage heat treatment (490°C × 4 h + 550°C × 4 h) is applied to optimize the microstructure and hydrogen storage performance of a vacuum‐melted Mg94Ni3Y3 alloy.

Effect of pretreated microstructure on the morphology and mechanical properties of low-carbon steel with IQ&P treatment [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The effects of pretreated microstructure on the multiphase microstructure features at room temperature and the mechanical properties of low-carbon steel were studied by the treatment of water cooling after hot-rolling in the γ phase region or in the γ ...

Experimental investigation of Phase Equilibria of Partial Ternary systems with Rhenium [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
