Plant diversity ameliorates the evolutionary development of fungicide resistance in an agricultural ecosystem

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 58, Issue 11, Page 2566-2578, November 2021., 2021
The development of fungicide resistance greatly threatens food security and ecological sustainability, and it is urgent need to develop agricultural practices which can ameliorate this problem. Our results show that potato crop with a genetic diversity is associated with a late blight pathogen of higher fungicide sensitivity and lower potential of ...

In vitro killing of canine strains of Staphylococcus pseudintermedius and Escherichia coli by cefazolin, cefovecin, doxycycline and pradofloxacin over a range of bacterial densities

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 31, Issue 3, Page 187-e39, June 2020., 2020
Background Bacterial densities likely fluctuate during infection and may exceed the bacterial density used in susceptibility testing. As such, investigation of bacterial killing by antibiotics over a range of varying bacterial densities may provide important differences between compounds and could impact drug selection for therapy.

In vitro antimicrobial activity of a gel containing antimicrobial peptide AMP2041, chlorhexidine digluconate and Tris‐EDTA on clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa from canine otitis

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 27, Issue 5, Page 391-e98, October 2016., 2016
Background– Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) may cause suppurative otitis externa with severe inflammation and ulceration in dogs. Multidrug resistance is commonly reported for this organism, creating a difficult therapeutic challenge. Objective– The aim of this study was to evaluate the in vitro antimicrobial activity of a gel containing 0.5 µg/mL of ...

Developing HMME‐Conjugated NIR‐II Activated Carbon Dots Nanospray for the Treatment of MRSA Biofilm Infections in Diabetic Wound via PTT/CDT/SDT

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Diabetic wound infections are a common complication of diabetes, which severely impact patients' quality of life. Effective treatment of diabetic wound infections remains one major challenge in the clinic, partially due to the formation of bacterial biofilm and antibiotic resistance.

An Ultrasmall Strontium‐Loaded Polydopamine Nanoformulation for Near‐Infrared‐Enhanced Periodontitis Therapy via Photodynamic Gas‐Promoted Antibacterial and Bone Repair

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Periodontitis is a chronic infectious oral disease triggered by periodontopathogenic bacteria, resulting in the progressive inflammation and destruction of the tissues surrounding teeth. To achieve reprogramming of the infectious microenvironment for periodontitis therapy, a nanoformulation was proposed by loading polydopamine (PDA) with ...

Cu‐Enhanced Medium‐Entropy TiZrCoCrMo Alloys: Balancing Superior Antibacterial and Osteogenic Properties for Orthopedic Implants

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT This study introduces novel nonequiatomic TiZrCoCrMoCux (x = 0, 5, 10; at%) medium‐entropy alloys (MEAx) tailored for orthopedic implants, synergistically combining the biocompatibility of Ti‐based alloys, the wear resistance of CoCrMo alloys, and the antibacterial/osteogenic attributes of Cu. The alloy's microstructure, mechanical properties,

大灰袋鼠多杀性巴氏杆菌的分离与鉴定

open access: yes, 2011

Mitigation of Legacy Effects in Invaded Soil via Alien Plant‐Derived Biochar 题目:外来植物生物炭对其入侵后土壤遗留效应的修复作用

open access: yesIntegrative Conservation, Volume 4, Issue 4, Page 686-694, December 2025.
The soil fungicide reduces the occurrence of pathogenic fungi in invaded soil and at the same time promotes the recruitment of mycorrhizal fungi and saprophytic fungi by the plants. The addition of biochar to the invaded soil has a negative legacy effect on subsequent invasive plants, while it exerts a positive enhancement effect on native plants ...
