随着金属氧化物避雷器在电力系统中广泛应用,由于老化、受潮、环境污秽等原因造成其损坏的故障时有发生。针对一起500 kV线路避雷器异常发热的缺陷,通过带电检测、停电检测和解体试验分析查明事故原因为避雷器下法兰位置未设置排水孔,导致防爆板长期暴露在酸性雨水环境中生锈,强度降低损坏,水汽侵入避雷器空腔内引起氧化锌电阻片受潮,侧面绝缘釉层性能下降后短路击穿。然后通过对受潮氧化锌电阻片进行干燥处理和敲除侧面绝缘釉处理,进一步验证了是氧化锌电阻片侧面绝缘釉短路导致泄漏电流增大。局部氧化锌电阻片侧面绝缘釉层短路击穿后,
