由于等离子体显示用蓝色荧光粉BaMgAl10O17:Eu2+(BAM)的易老化,色坐标易变化的特有性质,用荧光粉的常规表征参数发光亮度和色度坐标来表征其发光特性,难以真正反映它的质量,是不合适的,依据彩色显示重现系统的有关理论,结合制备BaMgAl10O17:Eu2+(BAM)工艺参数与其耐热和耐真空紫外线辐射稳定性的有关实验数据,建议采用色度坐标和Z刺激值两物理量表征BAM荧光粉的发光特性,可进一步科学客观反映其质量.
