光纤在拉丝过程中,用沉积密封碳层的方法保护光纤,可以避免 H2和 H2O 引起的光纤损耗增加和强度衰退。在升温和氢压条件下,把碳密封涂层光纤暴露到 H2气中,光纤的损耗特性与 H2或与 H2和 SiO2中的缺陷反应形成的 OH 基团有关。在100~150℃范围内,用圆柱状的经典扩散理论以及 H2在碳中的溶解度和扩散系数提出了 H2的扩散模型。
