野生动物学报云南省由于先前没有兔狲（Otocolobus manul）的野外实体影像资料，因此无法确认其在云南省有分布。依托第二次青藏高原综合科学考察，项目团队于2020年8月—2024年12月在云南省迪庆藏族自治州香格里拉市累计安装180台红外相机进行野生动物本底资源调查。在2024年9月19日记录到一段兔狲（Otocolobus manul）的野外活动影像，该影像为云南省首例兔狲野外纪录资料，证实了兔狲在云南省的分布。
