Subspecies taxonomy reflects social and geographic patterns of taxonomic effort in tetrapods

open access: yesConservation Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Subspecies have been used in conservation biology to account for intraspecific patterns in genetic diversity, which is crucial to long‐term population viability. Although over 3200 subspecies are currently assessed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List, their biological relevance remains controversial.

From “Striving to Survive” to “Striving to Thrive”: A Narrative Inquiry Into a Student's Motivational Development via Translanguaging in EAP and EMI Contexts

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Linguistics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT While English‐medium instruction (EMI) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses are designed to promote language and content learning, their prevailing English‐only approaches often undermine students’ learning motivation. Against this backdrop, translanguaging has gained recognition as an effective pedagogical practice to support ...

Pollution and Haunted Eco‐Histories: Silent Hill and Silent Horrors in Centralia, Pennsylvania

open access: yesPopular Culture Review, Volume 37, Issue 2, December 2026.
ABSTRACT Centralia is a former mining town and borough in Northeastern Pennsylvania, whose population has been steadily declining since the Mine Fire of 1962—a fire that still burns today. The “horrors” of living in Centralia are reflected in horror media set in postindustrial mining towns like Silent Hill.

A Cluster‐to‐Cluster Direct‐Linked Al8‐Cd Heterometallic MOF: Construction and Efficient C3H6/C2H4 Separation Performance

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 11, November 2026.
ABSTRACT The separation of light olefins is a crucial process in the petrochemical industry, and developing advanced adsorbent materials is very significant. Aluminum (Al) cluster‐based heterometallic frameworks possess great application prospects but have rarely been investigated for separation applications.

Construction of Hydrophilic Percolation Networks in Physical Wet‐Mixed Carbon Electrodes for High‐Rate Capacitive Deionization

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 11, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Capacitive deionization (CDI) using activated carbon (AC) electrodes holds great promise for seawater desalination, yet its practical application is severely constrained by the intrinsic hydrophobicity of carbon surfaces. Herein, we propose a solid‐state superhydrophilic modulation strategy that physically wet‐mixes superhydrophilic MOF ...

Decarbonization and the Rescaling of Water–Energy Bargaining: How Renewable Expansion Is Reshaping Iran–Iraq–Türkiye Transboundary Water Politics

open access: yesWorld Water Policy, Volume 12, Issue 4, November 2026.
ABSTRACT This article examines how renewable‐energy expansion is changing water–energy bargaining among Iran, Iraq, and Türkiye in the Tigris–Euphrates basin. Much of the existing literature on transboundary water politics focuses on territorial control, upstream–downstream power asymmetries, legal rules, and hydro‐hegemony but gives less attention to ...

Resource Substitution: Local Governments' Issue Attention and Policy Reinvention

open access: yesPolicy Studies Journal, Volume 54, Issue 4, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Research on policy reinvention, where a government modifies rather than replicates policy innovations introduced by other governments, has progressed significantly, but how it is influenced by the government's issue attention has not been thoroughly examined.

Who Owns the Landscape? Policy Conflict Over the Proposed Designation of Křivoklátsko as a National Park

open access: yesReview of Policy Research, Volume 43, Issue 6, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Nature conservation conflicts increasingly extend beyond ecological objectives to disputes over decision‐making legitimacy, institutional authority, and competing understandings of landscape and expertise. This article examines the conflict over the proposed designation of Křivoklátsko as a national park in the Czech Republic between 2021 and ...

有机杂气纯化装置和纯化方法

open access: yes, 2013

open access: yesZhongshan Daxue xuebao. Yixue kexue ban, 2000
