However, the number of plant species threatened in their native range that are naturalized elsewhere remains unknown.

野生动物学报, 1992 伴随着自然保护事业的发展,1988年10月,西藏自治区人民政府批准建立了珠穆朗玛峰自然保护区（以下简称:珠峰自然保护区）。她的出现,象怒放的雪莲,为大自然增添了无限春色,引起了国内外关心自然保护事业的人们和有关组织的关注。珠峰自然保护区位于西藏自治区与尼泊尔王国交界处,大致在北纬27°48′—29°19′,东经84°27′—88°之间,面积3.3万余平方公里,平均海拔在4000米以上,相对高差达7408米（1440米—8848米）,是世界上海拔最高的自然保护区。
