中国森林认证新领域——野生动物饲养管理认证

野生动物饲养管理认证是开展野生动物保护及规范野生动物利用的重要手段。我国野生动物人工饲养历史悠久,种类繁多,数量巨大,涉及多个行业领域,但是针对野生动物人工饲养及经营利用的管理却较有限,致使该领域管理粗放,饱受社会争议。基于此,中国森林认证体系首次提出并建立野生动物饲养管理认证,借助第三方的审核和监管辅助或替代现行的政府独立行政监管模式,适应新《野生动物保护法》要求,提升监管效率,降低行政成本,提高社会满意度,确保野生动物饲养及经营利用单位的合法性和可持续性,建立可持续的野生动物饲养管理体系。
