本文作者结合近二年接触的调查实践再一次讨论了目前我国野生动物调查中使用最多的路线调查法产生误差的种种原因,它们是路线的长度、宽度、穿越的各种生境的面积、样线的代表性、不同动物采用单一的调查方法、标准、核算系数,调查时间,人员素质等与路线调查精度有密切关系的因素。作者指出如果能象全面质量管理那样对调查的各个环节加强管理,那么调查质量一定会有大幅度提高的,作者在论述过程中也提出了若干相应的建议。
