A Stretchable Sandwich Composite Film With Ultra‐Broadband Electromagnetic Interference Shielding and High‐Performance Photothermal Conversion Capability

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT With the rapid growth demand for advanced integrated electronic systems, lightweight flexible electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding films integrated with functional properties, such as excellent mechanical properties and self‐healing capability, are a research focus in high‐tech functional materials. Herein, a sandwich‐structured aramid

Tantalum‐Driven Interfacial Reconstruction Enables Ultra‐Low Contact Resistance in TiAlTa/Au GaN HEMTs

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT The transformative potential of gallium nitride high electron mobility transistors (GaN HEMTs) in advancing carbon‐neutral power systems remains bottlenecked by contact resistance (Rc) at the metal–semiconductor (M‐S) interface, a critical determinant of switching losses and frequency response.

Orbitally Driven Anomalous Thermal Transport Under High Pressure in Gallium Nitride

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Extreme conditions such as high pressure offer opportunities for innovative materials design and applications. For over a century, studies on thermal transport in crystals under high hydrostatic pressure have shown that lattice thermal conductivity generally exhibits a monotonic increase with pressure.

Bifunctional Competitive Structure of Biomass Carbon‐Derived Metacomposites for Tunable ε′‐Near‐Zero and ε′‐Negative Responses

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Regulating negative parameters of metacomposites is mainly limited by their unclear mechanisms, which affects their practical applications in new sensing, communication, electromagnetic (EM) protection and other fields. This work proposes a dual‐functional competitive design strategy based on the waste corncob‐derived carbon/polyaniline ...

Template Engineering of Magnetic Nanoparticles Decorated on Porous Carbon for High‐Performance Multiband Electromagnetic Wave Absorption

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Although magnetic carbon materials possess significant potential in the field of electromagnetic wave absorption (EWA) due to the synergistic effect of multiple attenuation mechanisms, the currently reported magnetic carbon EWA materials face some challenges, such as high cost, low yield, and easy agglomeration of the magnetic component ...

Undetected cases after implementation of first‐trimester anomaly scan in low‐risk population: insights from the IMITAS study

open access: yesUltrasound in Obstetrics &Gynecology, Volume 67, Issue 1, Page 27-33, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective To assess the effectiveness of the first‐trimester anomaly scan (FTAS) performed as part of a centrally steered national screening program in The Netherlands by investigating false‐negative cases with a fetal structural anomaly that was not detected at the FTAS.

Threshold responses of floating meadow fish communities to floodplain forest cover in the lower Amazon River

open access: yesConservation Biology, Volume 39, Issue 6, December 2025.
Abstract Forest cover is positively associated with fish biomass and fisheries yield in the Amazon River floodplain, and many species enter flooded forests to feed, spawn, or seek refuge from predation. Floating macrophyte beds, known as floating meadows, in Amazon floodplains support high fish diversity and serve as nursery habitat for many fishes of ...

Performance improvements in complementary metal oxide semiconductor devices and circuits based on fin field‐effect transistors using 3‐nm ferroelectric Hf0.5Zr0.5O2

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 43, Issue 7, Page 3242-3249, July 2024.
Graphical abstract AbstractIn this work, a conventional HfO2 gate dielectric layer is replaced with a 3‐nm ferroelectric (Fe) HZO layer in the gate stacks of advanced fin field‐effect transistors (FinFETs). Fe‐induced characteristics, e.g., negative drain induced barrier lowering (N‐DIBL) and negative differential resistance (NDR), are clearly observed

经直肠超声与高频超声联合在肛周炎性疾病中的应用

open access: yesZhongguo shiyan zhenduanxue, 2019
