高精度的时间间隔测量是一个有着重要战略意义的课题。不仅在原子物理实验、天文观测、激光测距等实验中有着广泛应用，在IC设计、电信通讯中发挥重要作用，在航空航天和国防军事中更是不可或缺的关键技术。 本文设计了一个集成在FPGA内的高精度时间间隔测量模块。文中给出了这个的测量模块的原理和实现方法。文章首先介绍了主流的几种时间间隔测量方法，特别是设计采用的抽头延迟线法，并且简要分析了这种方法在FPGA内部的实现途径。而后，介绍了整个设计的架构，分析了各个模块的功能。然后是依次介绍各个模块的实现方案，包括延迟线，
