A bone substitute with gentamicin physically precipitated onto the surface of carbonate apatite exhibits prompt drug release, high bactericidal activity, and osteogenic capacity. Efficient antibacterial activity mitigates early postoperative neutrophil accumulation, the status of which may serve as a potential parameter for evaluating the antibacterial

Entanglement amplification of fermionic systems in an accelerated frame
In this article we present an analysis to derive physical results in the entanglement amplification of fermonic systems in the relativistic regime, that is, beyond the single-mode approximation. This leads a recent work in [M. Montero and E.

Automatic vigilance for negative words in lexical decision and naming : comment on Larsen, Mercer, and Balota (2006) [PDF]
An automatic vigilance hypothesis states that humans preferentially attend to negative stimuli, and this attention to negative valence disrupts the processing of other stimulus properties.

Far-ultraviolet study of the local supershell GSH 006-15+7
We have analyzed the archival data of FUV observations for the region of GSH 006-15+7, a large shell-like structure discovered by Moss et al. (2012) from the H I velocity maps. FUV emission is seen to be enhanced in the lower supershell region.

Bulk CdGeAs2, a well‐known nonlinear optical semiconductor, exhibits an exceptionally large room‐temperature nonlinear Hall effect (NLHE), achieving a record‐high nonlinear Hall responsivity of 2.2 × 10−3 m/V. This pronounced NLHE enables broadband frequency mixing up to the megahertz regime, establishing CdGeAs2 as a promising platform for next ...
