Central charges and RG flow of strongly-coupled N=2 theory [PDF]

open access: yesJHEP 03 (2013) 006, 2013
We calculate the central charges a, c and k_G of a large class of four-dimensional N=2 superconformal field theories arising from compactifying the six-dimensional N=(2,0) theory on a Riemann surface with regular and irregular punctures. We also study the renormalization group flows between the general Argyres-Douglas theories, which all agree with the

Reactions of cyclobutenones with nucleophilic reagents via vinylketen intermediates [PDF]

open access: yes, 1976
While strong nucleophiles add to the endocyclic double bond of cyclobutenones to yield cyclobutanones, weaker nucleophiles (e.g. alcohols, aniline) interact with the vinylketens which are thermally or photochemically generated from cyclobutenones; the ...

Joule‐Assisted Nanotherapeutic Urethral Stent (JANUS) for Spatiotemporal Theragenerative Treatment of Urethral Strictures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Joule‐assisted nanotherapeutic urethral stent harnesses a smart, biodegradable magnesium stent to orchestrate spatiotemporal theragenerative therapy for urethral strictures. Magnetically induced Joule heating enables on‐demand drug release and bacterial ablation, while simultaneously guiding urothelial regeneration.

Analysis of Bone Mineral Density and Bone Quality of Cortical Bone in the Human Hyoid Body and Histological Observation of the Entheses

open access: yesJournal of Functional Biomaterials
The hyoid is the only bone in the human body that is completely independent, not forming a joint with any other bone; its position is maintained by the suprahyoid and infrahyoid muscles, as well as several ligaments.

Spectrophotometric Determination of Mycophenolate Mofetil as Its Charge-Transfer Complexes with Two π-Acceptors

open access: yesJournal of Analytical Methods in Chemistry, 2012
Two simple, selective, and rapid spectrophotometric methods are described for the determination of mycophenolate mofetil (MPM) in pure form and in tablets.

Hybrid Immunity Provides the Best COVID-19 Humoral Response in Immunocompromised Patients with or without SARS-CoV-2 Infection History

open access: yesVaccines, 2023
Immunization against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has significantly limited the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and reduced the associated complications, especially mortality.

Topology and $θ$ dependence in finite temperature $G_2$ lattice gauge theory [PDF]

open access: yesJHEP 03 (2015) 006, 2015
In this work we study the topological properties of the $G_2$ lattice gauge theory by means of Monte Carlo simulations. We focus on the behaviour of topological quantities across the deconfinement transition and investigate observables related to the $\theta$ dependence of the free energy.

Designing Metastable P3‐type Layered Negative Electrodes with High Na Vacancy Concentration for High‐Power Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A metastable high‐vacancy concentration layered P3‐type Na0.5Cr0.5Ti0.5O2 negative electrode material has been synthesized from its K analogues P3‐type K0.5Cr0.5Ti0.5O2 using a facile room temperature ion‐exchange method. The P3‐type Na0.5Cr0.5Ti0.5O2 demonstrates a gravimetric capacity of 125 mA h g−1 and high‐rate performance (80% charging in 3 min ...

Evaluation of resistance in different varieties/genotypes of bottle gourd (Lagenaria siceraria) against Cercospora leaf spot under field conditions

open access: yesThe Indian Journal of Agricultural Sciences, 2015
Cultivation of resistant or tolerant cultivars is one of the best options to minimize the losses due to diseases. Seventeen bottle gourd [Lagenaria siceraria (Mol.) Standl.] varieties/genotypes (Pusa Naveen, Pusa Samridhi, Udaipur Local, Pusa Santushti ...
