DNA Origami‐Based CD44‐Targeted Therapy Silences Stat3 Enhances Cartilage Regeneration and Alleviates Osteoarthritis Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops a cartilage‐targeted DNA origami system (OCS) that protects and delivers si‐Stat3 to chondrocytes. OCS reduces MMP13 expression, enhances extracellular matrix stability, and lowers oxidative stress while improving cell survival. In vivo, OCS decreases cartilage degradation biomarkers and promotes tissue repair factors, demonstrating

Multiscale Organization of Neural Networks in a 3D Bioprinted Matrix

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A 3D bioprint model of primary neurons has been engineered with a millimeter‐scale functional neural network, and it recapitulates in vivo transcriptomic features under both normal and disease conditions to the greatest extent. The successful integration of mature neurons and 3D bioprinting signifies a major advance in neuroscience modeling ...

A Feedback Loop Between Fatty Acid Metabolism and Epigenetics in Clear Cell Renal Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The current study has profiled the landscape of active enhancers in ccRCC and identified FABP5 as an oncogene. FABP5 is essential for the lipid droplet formation driven by HIFs and critical for H3K27ac and enhancer activity. The study has discovered the function of a feedback loop between epigenetics and lipid metabolism regulated by FABP5 in ccRCC ...

High Resistivity of Single Crystal CsPbBr3 Semiconductor for Radiation Detection via Proposed Temperature‐Concentration Balance Method

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces a temperature‐concentration balance (TCB) method to grow high‐quality CsPbBr₃ single crystal with improved phase purity and structural stability. The crystals exhibits a sharp emission peak at 527 nm, narrow full width at half maximum (21.1 nm), and high resistivity (up to 3.97 × 10¹⁰ Ω·cm).

Improving the Rate and Cycle Performances of Porous Silicon Particles Prepared by Acid Etching of Al–Si Alloy Powders for Application in Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
A scalable method is presented to manufacture high‐capacity Si electrodes for Li‐ion batteries where skeletal porous Ti(Al,Si)2@Si particles are synthesized by gas atomization and acid etching. The fine pores have a buffering effect that suppresses volume expansion during lithiation, and the high electrical conductivity of the particles greatly ...

A hepatoprotective experiment on taro vegetable (Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott) flower employing animal models by mitigating oxidative stress

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
The antioxidant efficacy of Colocasia esculenta flower’s methanolic extract was assessed using 2,2′‐azino‐bis‐(3‐ethylbenzothiazoline‐6‐sulfonic) (ABTS) and 2,2‐diphenyl‐1‐picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) scavenging assay. The hepatoprotective effect was investigated by assessing liver injury indicators (amino transferase [ALT], aspartate amino transferase [AST],

Interfacial Photoelectrochemistry in Organic Synthesis

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Accepted Article.
Photoelectrodes have traditionally enjoyed widespread attention as heterogeneous catalysts for the activation of water and CO2 in energy research, while photoelectrochemistry with homogeneous molecular catalysts dominates the activations of more complex molecules in organic synthesis.
