Solving an optimal control problem of hepatitis B virus dynamics: Efficacy of fuzzy logic strategy [PDF]
This work aims at using fuzzy logic strategy to solve a hepatitis B virus (HBV) optimal control problem. To test the efficacy of this numerical method, we compare numerical results with those obtained using direct method.

Pavelka-style completeness in expansions of \L ukasiewicz logic [PDF]
An algebraic setting for the validity of Pavelka style completeness for some natural expansions of \L ukasiewicz logic by new connectives and rational constants is given.

PROLogic: A FUZZY TEMPORAL CONSTRAINT PROLOG
In this paper we present PROLogic, a logic programming language based on a formal first-order fuzzy temporal logic: FTCLogic. FTCLogic integrates the advantages of a formal system (a first-order logic based on Possibilistic Logic) and an efficient ...

Fuzzy positive implicative ordered filters of implicative semigroups
We consider the fuzzification of the notion of a positive implicative ordered filter in implicative semigroups. We show that every fuzzy positive implicative ordered filter is both a fuzzy ordered filter and a fuzzy implicative ordered filter. We give examples that a fuzzy (implicative) ordered filter may not be a fuzzy positive implicative ordered ...

APPLICATION OF GENERALIZED VAGUE SOFT EXPERT SET IN DECISION MAKING
Generalized vague soft expert sets can be used to analyze decisionmaking problems. In this work we give an application of this concept which we have earlier introduced, in a decision-making problem.

Hidden modalities in algebras with negation and implication [PDF]
Lukasiewicz 3-valued logic may be seen as a logic with hidden truthfunctional modalities de ned by A := :A ! A and A := :(A ! :A). It is known that axioms (K), (T), (B), (D), (S4), (S5) are provable for these modalities, and rule (RN) is admissible. We

Fuzzy BCI‐subalgebras with interval‐valued membership functions
The purpose of this paper is to define the notion of an interval‐valued fuzzy BCI‐subalgebra (briefly, an i‐v fuzzy BCI‐subalgebra) of a BCI‐algebra. Necessary and sufficient conditions for an i‐v fuzzy set to be an i‐v fuzzy BCI‐subalgebra are stated. A way to make a new i‐v fuzzy BCI‐subalgebra from old one is given.

Extension on the fuzzy integral based on ⊕‐decomposable measure
We extend the concept of fuzzy integral based on ⊕‐decomposable measure from nonnegative fuzzy measurable function to extended real‐valued fuzzy measurable function. Further investigations of fuzzy integrals based on pseudo‐additive decomposable measure are carried out.

Intersections between some families of (U,N)- and RU-implications [PDF]
(U,N)-implications and RU-implications are the generalizations of (S,N)- and R-implications to the framework of uninorms, where the t-norms and t-conorms are replaced by appropriate uninorms. In this work, we present the intersections that exist between (

Lattice operations on fuzzy implications and the preservation of the exchange principle [PDF]
In this work, we solve an open problem related to the preservation of the exchange principle (EP) of fuzzy implications under lattice operations ([3], Problem 3.1.). We show that generalizations of the commutativity of antecedents (CA) to a pair of fuzzy
