The need for an early anti-neutrino run of NOvA [PDF]
The moderately large value of $\ty$, measured recently by reactor experiments, is very welcome news for the future neutrino experiments. In particular, the \nova experiment, with 3 years each of $\nu$ and $\anu$ runs, will be able to determine the mass ...

Cu‐doped spinel MnCo1.5Cu0.5O4 exhibits excellent conductivity and stability as SOC contact material. After 1000‐h aging at 850 °C, the contact layer maintains a 10 mΩ cm2 ASR value, and a single‐cell stack achieves a H2O/CO2 co‐electrolysis power density of 0.52 W cm−2.

Quantum noncommutative ABJM field theory: four- & six-point functions
Following our previous paper “Quantum noncommutative ABJM theory: first steps” [JHEP 1804 (2018) 070)], in this article we investigate one-loop 1PI four- & six-point functions by using the component formalism in the Landau gauge and show that they are UV

Exploring the role of apolipoprotein ε4 in progressive myoclonic epilepsy type 1
Abstract Objective Progressive myoclonic epilepsy type 1 (EPM1) is a neurodegenerative disease caused by biallelic variants in the cystatin B (CSTB) gene. Despite a progressive course, phenotype severity varies among patients, even within families. We studied the potential role of APOE ε4 in modifying phenotypic diversity in EPM1, given its established

Fiduciary Duties and Equity-Debtholder Conflicts [PDF]
We use an important legal event as a natural experiment to examine the effect of management fiduciary duties on equity-debt conflicts. A 1991 Delaware bankruptcy ruling changed the nature of corporate directors' fiduciary duties in firms incorporated in ...

Abstract Objective To examine the performance of single‐item global ratings (SIGRs) and multi‐item scales (MISs) in epilepsy research, and assess the influence of diverse constructs, study designs, and statistical methods. Methods Systematic scoping review following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta‐Analyses (PRISMA) and Joanna ...

Abstract Objective Conceptualizing functional/dissociative seizures (FDS) as resulting from dissociation, or conversion, we hypothesized that, compared to epileptic seizures (ES), FDS should carry more symbolic or communicative content and that this would allow observers to distinguish FDS from ES.

Evidence has shown the clear positive effects of nature-based products on biofilm control and improved gingival health. However, most studies have used in vitro models, have tested single natural components, or have not evaluated proteomic changes after ...

Short-Term Cardiac Autonomic Recovery after a Repeated Sprint Test in Young Soccer Players
The aim of this study was to describe the time course (within 2 h post-exercise) of heart rate variability (HRV) recovery following a traditional repeated sprint ability (RSA) test applied to youth soccer players. Twenty-four young soccer players (18.4

Abstract Efforts to use transcriptomics for toxicity testing have classically relied on the assumption that chemicals consistently produce characteristic transcriptomic signatures that are reflective of their mechanism of action. However, the degree to which transcriptomic responses are conserved across different test methodologies has seldom been ...
