The Journal of Physical Chemistry A, 1998Electronic structures of cationic states (2+ and 3+) of 1,3,5-triazine (TA) and its derivative hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine (HTA) are discussed with the ab initio molecular-orbital method including the electron correlation by the Moller−Plesset (MP) perturbation treatment.

Photodissociation dynamics of 1,3,5-triazine
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1984It is found that 1,3,5-triazine in a molecular beam can be photodissociated into three HCN molecules at 248 and 193 nm. Such a photodissociation must take place from the 1A1 ground state of the parent and is therefore likely to generate nearly equal speeds in all three fragments.

Thermochemical Properties of Trinitromethyl-1,3,5-Triazines
Russian Journal of Physical Chemistry BThe enthalpies of combustion and enthalpies of formation of three trinitromethyl derivatives of 1,3,5-triazine were determined by calorimetric method. The data obtained can be used for calculating the energy capabilities of related compounds by the method of replacing functional groups.
