Distribution of 137Cs Radionuclide in Industrial Wastes Effluents of Gresik, East Java, Indonesia

open access: yesAtom Indonesia, 2015
The distribution of anthropogenic radionuclides 137Cs was measured from industrial waste effluent of Gresik to Gresik Sea in east Java, Indonesia. The activity of 37Cs detected at all stations was much lower than in northeast Japan both before and after ...

Long‐Term Biodiversity–Stability Relationship in Temperate Mountain Forests

open access: yesJournal of Biogeography, Volume 53, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim Theories on ecological stability lack the long‐term observational data necessary to comprehend the dynamics of durable and complex ecosystems like forests; consequently, the influence of biodiversity on ecosystem stability remains predominantly unexplained.

Reconstruction of radio-ecological model parameters based on the results of monitoring the radiation situation in Mazovia after the Chernobyl accident (based on the «Warsaw» scenario of the IAEA EMRAS project)

open access: yesРадиационная гигиена, 2020
The paper analyzes the consistency of the input data of the radioecological model: the results of measurements of 137Cs and 131I concentrations in the atmosphere after the Chernobyl accident in Warsaw, the meteo-data on precipitation during the main ...

Sedimentary DNA and Fossil Archives Reveal Long‐Term Phytoplankton Shifts and Their Biogeochemical Influence in a Subtropical Lake

open access: yesMolecular Ecology, Volume 35, Issue 16, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Understanding long‐term phytoplankton community dynamics is essential for assessing ecological resilience and informing lake management under global change. However, centennial‐scale patterns of phytoplankton dynamics remain poorly resolved due to the limited taxonomic resolution of traditional fossil‐based paleoecological approaches.

Substantial Accumulation of Chemically Oxidizable Organic Carbon in Continental Margin Sediments

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 14, 28 July 2026.
Abstract The balance between organic carbon (OC) sequestration and oxidation regulates the oceanic carbon cycle, and OC reactivity determines its susceptibility to remineralization or long‐term burial. However, the stability of sedimentary OC on continental margins remains poorly understood.

东北黑土中137Cs背景值研究

open access: yesShuitu Baochi Xuebao, 2004

Targeting Post‐Irradiation Thyroid Dysfunction: Electrospun Scaffolds As A Dual‐Action Approach for Antioxidant and Immune Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 15, Issue 27, 17 July 2026.
Radiation‐induced hypothyroidism follows head and neck radiotherapy due to oxidative stress and inflammation. Electrospun polycaprolactone scaffolds containing adenosine have potential to modulate thyroid repair. Scaffolds enhance thyrocyte proliferation, antioxidant enzymes glutathione peroxidase and catalase, reduce senescence and apoptosis markers ...

Changing Pacific Salmon Nursery Lake Ecosystem Dynamics Over Centuries to Millennia: Insights From Sedimentary DNA Metabarcoding

open access: yesEnvironmental DNA, Volume 8, Issue 4, July‐August 2026.
Sedimentary DNA metabarcoding tracks long‐term eukaryotic community change in Pacific salmon nursery lakes, revealing potential land‐use and climate influences on algal communities and resilience indicators. ABSTRACT Pacific salmon are keystone species in North Pacific freshwater, riparian, and marine ecosystems, but many populations have declined or ...

137Cs in fishes of Kanevskoe reservoir after 20 years from ChNPP accident [PDF]

open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2006
Content of 137Cs in fishes of Kanevskoe reservoir of r. Dnepr was studied during 2005 - 2006. It is revealed, that levels of the content of 137Cs in comparison with 1986 have decreased approximately in 10 times.
