On‐Surface Synthesis of B3N3‐Substituted Two‐Dimensional Covalent Organic Frameworks with Distinct Pore Sizes and Kagome Band Structures [PDF]
Single‐layer, 2D BN‐substituted covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with two distinct periodicities are synthesized on noble metal supports. A multi‐method characterization reveals a non‐planar, chiral structure. Band gaps and frontier band dispersion are controlled by linker chemistry and spacer extension.
