Pre-discharge 18F-Flourodeoxyglucose uptake pattern following transcatheter aortic-valve replacement and adverse prognostic features in aortic stenosis

open access: yesIndian Heart Journal, 2023
18F-Flourodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (18F-FDG-PET/CT) has been shown to be of utility in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) patients with suspected prosthetic valve endocarditis.

Additional file 1: Figure S1. of 18F-FDG-labeled red blood cell PET for blood-pool imaging: preclinical evaluation in rats

open access: yes, 2017
Relationship between the radioactivity of added 18F-FDG and the actual radioactivity of 18F-FDG-labeled RBCs. Positive linear correlation between them was found (some dots overlap). Figure S2.

14‐3‐3γ Protects Against Postoperative Cognitive Dysfunction by Regulating Tau Thr205 Phosphorylation and Synaptic Integrity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrative multi‐cohort analyses identify 14‐3‐3γ as a biomarker and regulator of cognitive vulnerability. Experimental studies show that 14‐3‐3γ loss is associated with Tau Thr205 phosphorylation, synaptic dysfunction, and cognitive impairment, while genetic overexpression or pharmacological stabilization of 14‐3‐3γ confers protective effects in ...

Targeting LDHA Palmitoylation Sensitizes GBM to Chemoradiotherapy via Suppressing Palmitic Acid Induced Glycolytic Reprogramming

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mesenchymal GSCs preferentially uptake palmitic acid, thereby promoting ZDHHC12‐mediated LDHA palmitoylation. This modification enhances LDHA enzymatic activity, drives glycolytic reprogramming, and facilitates exosomal LDHA‐mediated TAM regulation.

Dual‐Target Nectin‐4/FAP Heterobivalent Probe 68Ga/177Lu‐FZ‐NF‐1 for Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer: Preclinical Theranostic Evaluation and First‐in‐Human Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel hetero‐bivalent agent, 68Ga/177Lu‐FZ‐NF‐1, concurrently targets Nectin‐4 and FAP in triple‐negative breast cancer. It yields significant preclinical tumor regression and clinically identifies additional metastatic lesions missed by 18F‐FDG PET, demonstrating promising theranostic potential for personalized management.

Differences in [18F]FDG uptake in BAT of UCP1 −/− and UCP1 +/+ during adrenergic stimulation of non-shivering thermogenesis

open access: yesEJNMMI Research, 2020
Background Brown adipose tissue (BAT) is a fat tissue found in most mammals that helps regulate energy balance and core body temperature through a sympathetic process known as non-shivering thermogenesis.

Assessment of glucose metabolism and cellular proliferation in multiple myeloma: a first report on combined 18F-FDG and 18F-FLT PET/CT imaging

open access: yesEJNMMI Research, 2018
Background Despite the significant upgrading in recent years of the role of 18F-FDG PET/CT in multiple myeloma (MM) diagnostics, there is a still unmet need for myeloma-specific radiotracers. 3′-Deoxy-3′-[18F]fluorothymidine (18F-FLT) is the most studied

Head-to-head comparison of 18F-FAPI and 18F-FDG PET/CT in staging and therapeutic management of hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesCancer Imaging, 2023
Background Fluorine 18 (18F) fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) has limitations in staging hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

Multimodal Imaging of Hypoxia, Metabolism and pH in Feline Sarcoma Using Hyperpolarized 13C MRI and PET

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a clinically deployable simultaneous PET/MRI workflow which integrates hyperpolarized 13C imaging of metabolism and extracellular pH with [18F]FMISO PET to characterize hypoxia, acidosis, and metabolic reprogramming in feline sarcoma.
