Quantitative analysis of hydrogen peroxide by 1H NMR spectroscopy

Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2005
A technique utilizing 1H NMR spectroscopy has been developed to measure the concentration of hydrogen peroxide from 10(-3) to 10 M. Hydrogen peroxide produces a peak at around 10-11 ppm, depending upon the interaction between solvent molecules and hydrogen peroxide molecules.

1H NMR analysis as a diagnostic probe for human saliva

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 2005
The applications of high resolution (1)H NMR analysis as a diagnostic probe for human saliva are reviewed with special reference to diabetes mellitus, and a recently published report regarding the ability of this technique to detect advanced glycation endproducts (AGEs) in this biofluid [Biochem. Biophys. Res. Commun. 323 (2004) 377-381].

A 13C and 1H NMR analysis of perfumes

Russian Journal of Applied Chemistry, 2006
Composition of a series of formulations used in Russia for production of various perfumes, among them car air fresheners, was studied by 13C and 1H NMR. The main components were identified, approximate compositions of several perfumes were determined, and spectral data are given.

Analysis of illegally manufactured formulations of tadalafil (Cialis®) by 1H NMR, 2D DOSY 1H NMR and Raman spectroscopy

Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 2008
Counterfeit and/or imitation medicines are becoming a major health problem not only in developing countries but also in wealthier countries. The need of new and easy analytical methods for quality control of drugs is essential. We describe the use of Raman spectroscopy, 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and 2D diffusion-ordered spectroscopy (DOSY ...

Quantitative analysis of iobitridol in an injectable preparation by 1H NMR spectroscopy

Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis, 2014
Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy was used for direct quantitative determination of iobitridol in an injectable formulation. The method was developed on a medium field strength magnet (400MHz) and validation was performed by assessing specificity, accuracy, precision, linearity, stability of samples and robustness.

Comparative analysis of a neurotoxin from Calliostoma canaliculatum by on-line capillary isotachophoresis/1H NMR and diffusion 1H NMR.

Journal of natural products, 2005
NMR spectroscopy has been coupled on-line to capillary isotachophoresis (cITP) to enhance structural analyses of dilute charged species through separation and sample concentration. Microcoils, the most mass-sensitive NMR probes available, provide optimal detection for cITP/NMR.

Tetrahymena thermophila: analysis of phospholipids and phosphonolipids by high-field 1H-NMR

Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Lipids and Lipid Metabolism, 1996
The phospholipids of control and lipid-modified Tetrahymena thermophila were identified and quantified, using 1-D and 2-D COSY proton NMR spectroscopy on intact lipids, before and after HPLC separation. The results are comparable to those obtained using classical lipid analytical techniques.
