Investigation of the accumulation of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) in rat kidneys
The accumulation of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) and its metabolite 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) in the kidneys of rats was investigated. Male and female Sprague-Dawley rats were given 2,4-D in drinking water and food for 30 days.

Comparative metabolism of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) in rat and dog
1. There is a significant species difference in the toxicity of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D). The oral no overall adverse effect level (NOAEL) for chronic toxicity of 2,4-D in rat is 5 mg kg(-1) day(-1) and in dog is 1 mg kg(-1) day(-1).

Three‐component thio‐ and carbo‐boration reactions to form functionalised benzoxaborinines and benzazaborinines are reported. The nucleophile scope includes thioethers, thiols, and (hetero)arenes. Mechanistic studies revealed a disparity between thioboration using thioethers and using thiols.
