Derivations, 2-local derivations, biderivations and automorphisms of the generalized loop Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra

open access: yesCommunications in Algebra
In this paper, the generalized Loop Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra is introduced. Firstly, we determine the derivations on the generalized Loop Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra. Then we show that all 2-local derivations are derivations. Furthermore, we determine the biderivations on the generalized Loop Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra are inner biderivations and ...

Local derivations of nest subalgebras of von Neumann algebras

open access: yes, 2004
In this paper, it is proved that every norm continuous linear local derivation of a nest subalgebra of a factor von Neumann algebra is a derivation, and that every linear 2-local derivation of a nest subalgebra of a factor von Neumann algebra is a ...

Preoperative circulating tumor cells integrated with imaging analysis for prognostic evaluation in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Detecting circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in blood before surgery may help predict outcomes in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Here, we show when combined with tumor size and lymph node involvement from routine imaging, CTC status identifies high‐risk patients with poorer survival—offering a simple, minimally invasive tool ...

LOCAL AND 2-LOCAL 1/2-DERIVATIONS OF SOLVABLE LEIBNIZ ALGEBRAS

open access: yesEURASIAN MATHEMATICAL JOURNAL
Summary: We show that any local \(\frac12\)-derivation on solvable Leibniz algebras with model or abelian nilradicals, whose dimensions of complementary spaces are maximal, is a \(\frac12\)-derivation. We show that solvable Leibniz algebras with abelian nilradicals, which have 1-dimensional complementary spaces are \(\frac12\)-derivations.

Local derivation on the $n$-th Schr{\"o}dinger algebra

open access: yes
This paper is devoted to study local derivations on the $n$-th Schr{\"o}dinger algebra $\mathcal{S}_{n}.$ We prove that every local derivation on $\mathcal{S}_{n}$ is a ...

An Interactive Derivation Viewer

open access: yes, 2006
This work describes the Interactive Derivation Viewer (IDV) tool for graphical rendering of derivations that are written in the TPTP language. IDV provides an interactive interface that allows the user to quickly view various features of the derivation ...

Polarization‐resolved femtosecond Vis/IR spectroscopy tailored for resolving weak signals in biological samples using minimal sample volume

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

On the derivation of non-local diffusion equations in confined spaces

open access: yes, 2018
The subject of the thesis is the derivation of non-local diffusion equations from kinetic models with heavy-tailed equilibrium in velocity. We are particularly interested in confining the kinetic equations and developing methods that allow us, from the ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...
