Seasonal cold adaptation is vital for insect survival, yet the molecular mechanisms linking diapause to mitochondrial resilience remain largely unresolved. We identify ascaroside C9 (asc‐C9) as a key endocrine signal that enhances diapause survival during cold stress by activating the AKHR–PGC1α–UCP4 axis, thereby driving cold‐induced lipolysis and ...

Diversity of the Potential 2-Methylisoborneol-Producing Genotypes in Thai Strains of Planktothricoides (Cyanobacteria) [PDF]
The genus Planktothricoides Suda & Watanabe is considered as a 2-methylisoborneol (MIB) producer, affecting water quality and aquatic animal products worldwide. To date, there is limited information about the diversity of this genus from Thailand.

The presence of 2-methylisoborneol (2-MIB) in water is a critical global concern due to its low threshold and resistance to conventional processes. In the present study, activated carbon/alginate (AC/alginate) composite beads were synthesized via ionic ...

Elevated exogenous palmitic acid promotes the S‐palmitoylation of SRPK1 in endothelial cells, a dynamic process governed by ZDHHC24 and APT1. This post‐translational modification strengthens the interaction between SRPK1 and the E3 ubiquitin ligase MIB1, thereby facilitating the proteasomal degradation of SRPK1.

Functional compensation between clarin‐1 and clarin‐2 in cochlear hair cells. Hearing loss associated with CLRN1 mutations shows striking phenotypic variability; however, the underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood. This study reveals that clarin‐1 and clarin‐2 function cooperatively in cochlear hair cells to sustain mechanoelectrical ...

A metastable‐phase evolution strategy is proposed for magnesium‐ion batteries, enabling the in situ formation of a metastable MgxT‐VS4 cathode during cycling. The metastable state reshapes Mg2+ storage kinetics and enhances structural stability, offering a new design paradigm for multivalent ion battery cathodes.
