Tin‐based perovskite light‐emitting diodes: Progress and perspective

open access: yesInfoScience, Volume 3, Issue 3, September 2026.
This review assesses tin‐based perovskite light‐emitting diodes (PeLEDs), focusing on the limitations of Sn2+ oxidation–induced defects and uncontrolled crystallization. By evaluating advanced device engineering and structural innovations, this article highlights their viability in narrowband pure‐red displays and near‐infrared optical communication ...

Anchoring Polyoxometalate (PMo11Fe) on ZnO Nanosheet for Construction of a Novel S‐Scheme Heterojunction Toward Efficient Photodegradation of Levofloxacin Antibiotics

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Currently, the photocatalytic performance of ZnO has been severely limited by its weak light response ability and sluggish charge carrier dynamics, which considerably hinder its extensive application in photocatalytic fields. Herein, through anchoring the synthesized K6PMo11FeO40·nH2O (PMo11Fe) onto ZnO nanosheets, a novel S‐scheme ...

Metal‐Catalyzed Intermolecular Cyclization Reaction of Diazonaphthoquinones With Glycidol Derivatives

open access: yesChemistrySelect, Volume 11, Issue 36, 22 September 2026.
The metal‐catalyzed cyclization reactions of diazonaphthoquinones with glycidol yielded naphthodioxane derivatives. In this reaction, the metal carbene, formed from the diazonaphthoquinone and metal catalyst (rhodium or palladium), initially reacts with the hydroxyl group of glycidol to produce an O─H insertion product.

Acute Fulminant Systemic Granulocytic Vasculitis Involving Arteries and Veins in Vacuoles, E1 Enzyme, X‐Linked, Autoinflammatory, Somatic (VEXAS) Syndrome: An Autopsy Case Report

open access: yesPathology International, Volume 76, Issue 9, September 2026.
We report an autopsy case of VEXAS syndrome presenting with aggressive clinical course. Pathologically, the disease manifested as systemic granulocytic vasculitis affecting both arteries and veins, characterized by the presence of histiocytoid myeloid cells associated with low‐risk MDS.

From Fragments to Function: Novel Hydrazone Derivatives as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 16, 27 August 2026.
Twelve N‐acylhydrazone derivatives (5a–f, 6a–f) were synthesized and characterized. Compounds displayed potent submicromolar inhibition against both MAO‐A and MAO‐B. Compound 6e exhibited the strongest activity (IC50 = 0.073 μM for MAO‐A; 0.064 μM for MAO‐B). Kinetic and docking analyses confirmed reversible, competitive inhibition via FAD interaction.

Fluorescence quenching of 2-naphthol by methyl acrylate in micellar medium

open access: yes, 2008
1516-1519The fluorescence quenching of 2-naphthol in presence of methyl acrylate has been studied in different concentrations of anionic (sodium lauryl sulphate) and cationic (cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide) micelles.

Discovery of 2-Naphthol from the Leaves of Actephila merrilliana as a Natural Nematicide Candidate

open access: yesJournal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2023
To identify natural nematicides that can replace chemical nematicides, 2-naphthol with high activity against Meloidogyne incognita was isolated from Actephila merrilliana. The nematicidal activity of 2-naphthol against M.
