Inspired by nitrous oxide reductase, a binuclear copper complex supported by carbon black was utilized for the electrocatalytic N₂O reduction under ambient conditions. The binuclear Cu center enables exceptionally high turnover frequency and nearly 100% Faradaic efficiency for the electrochemical N₂O reduction.

Enhanced thermoelectric performance of In-substituted GeSb6Te10 with homologous structure
We studied the crystal structure and thermoelectric properties of polycrystalline GeInxSb6−xTe10 (x = 0, 0.18, 0.3, and 0.6). Rietveld and Le Bail analyses showed that all compositions crystallized in trigonal structures with a 51-layer period ...

Eutrophication will increase methane emissions from lakes and impoundments during the 21st century
Lakes and impoundments are an important source of methane (CH4), a potent greenhouse gas, to the atmosphere. A recent analysis shows aquatic productivity (i.e., eutrophication) is an important driver of CH4 emissions from lentic waters.
