Quantized 2d Dilaton Gravity and Black Holes [PDF]
We have examined a modified dilaton gravity whose action is separable into the kinetic and the cosmological terms for the sake of the quantization. The black hole solutions survive even in the quantized theory, but the ADM mass of the static solution is ...

Here, we present a novel 3D cell patterning and culture platform. The “Floor‐Ceiling‐Chip” (FC‐Chip) consists of two opposing track‐etched membranes, creating a pseudo‐3D microenvironment for the cells in between. By providing the membranes with micropatterned cell‐adhesive islands of varying geometries and sizes, the FC‐Chip enables control over cell ...

Electric/magnetic Newton-Hooke and Carroll Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity
We construct the electric and magnetic Newton-Hooke and Carroll Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity theories using the isomorphism of Newton-Hooke ± and (A-)dS Carroll algebras in (1+1)-spacetime dimensions.

This review summarizes the roles of key central nervous system cell types, the extracellular matrix, and the blood‐brain barrier in neuroinflammation, and their integration into diverse 3D culture systems. It examines major incorporation strategies, including direct co‐culture, hydrogel encapsulation, transwell migration assays, and bioprinting ...

UNITARY MATRIX MODELS AND 2D QUANTUM GRAVITY [PDF]
The KdV and modified KdV integrable hierarchies are shown to be different descriptions of the same 2D gravitational system — open-closed string theory. Non-perturbative solutions of the multicritical unitary matrix models map to non-singular solutions of the 'renormalization group' equation for the string susceptibility, [Formula: see text].

Schrödinger evolution of two-dimensional black holes
This paper systematically treats the evolving quantum state for two-dimensional black holes, with particular focus on the CGHS model, but also elucidating features generalizing to higher dimensions.

Bioengineered 3D hPSC‐Cholangiocyte Ducts With Physiological Signals for Biliary Disease Modeling
Tian and colleagues generated a bioengineered bile duct from human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC)‐derived intrahepatic cholangiocytes within a high‐throughput, 384‐well platform to systematically examine the influence of biliary physiological signals including fluid flow, stromal cells and bile acids, and models intrahepatic biliary disease progression ...

\small The SL$(2,R)/U(1)$ coset model, with $U(1)$ an element of the third conjugacy class of $SL(2,R)$ subgroups, is considered. The resulting theory is seen to collapse to a one dimensional field theory of Liouville. Then the 2 dimensional black hole $SL(2,R)/U(1)$, with $U(1)$ a non-compact subgroup boosted by a Lorentz transformation, is considered.

Boundary Liouville theory and 2D quantum gravity [PDF]
We study the boundary correlation functions in Liouville theory and in solvable statistical models of 2D quantum gravity. In Liouville theory we derive functional identities for all fundamental boundary structure constants, similar to the one obtained for the boundary two-point function by Fateev, Zamolodchikov and Zamolodchikov.

The No-Hair Conjecture in 2D Dilaton Supergravity [PDF]
We study two dimensional dilaton gravity and supergravity following hamiltonian methods. Firstly, we consider the structure of constraints of 2D dilaton gravity and then the 2D dilaton supergravity is obtained taking the squere root of the bosonic ...
