Gauge-gravity correspondence in an accelerating universe [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2002
We discuss time-dependent backgrounds of type IIB supergravity realizing gravitation duals of gauge theories formulated in de Sitter space-time as a tool of embedding de Sitter in a supergravity. We show that only the gravitational duals to non-conformal gauge theories are sensitive to a specific value of a Hubble parameter.

The Newman-Penrose map and the classical double copy

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Gauge-gravity duality is arguably our best hope for understanding quantum gravity. Considerable progress has been made in relating scattering amplitudes in certain gravity theories to those in gauge theories — a correspondence dubbed the double copy ...

Rényi entropies and area operator from gravity with Hayward term

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
In the context of the holographic duality, the entanglement entropy of ordinary QFT in a subregion in the boundary is given by a quarter of the area of an minimal surface embedded in the bulk spacetime.

Gravity/Fluid Correspondence and Its Application on Bulk Gravity with U(1) Gauge Field

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2014
As the long wavelength limit of the AdS/CFT correspondence, the gravity/fluid correspondence has been shown to be a useful tool for extracting properties of the fluid on the boundary dual to the gravity in the bulk. In this paper, after briefly reviewing

Coadjoint orbit action of Virasoro group and two-dimensional quantum gravity dual to SYK/tensor models

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
The Nambu-Goldstone (NG) bosons of the SYK model are described by a coset space Diff/SL(2, ℝ), where Diff, or Virasoro group, is the group of diffeomorphisms of the time coordinate valued on the real line or a circle. It is known that the coadjoint orbit

Time-independence of gravitational Rényi entropies and unitarity in quantum gravity

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
The Hubeny-Rangamani-Takayanagi surface γ HRT computing the entropy S(D) of a domain of dependence D on an asymptotically AdS boundary is known to be causally inaccessible from D. We generalize this gravitational result to higher replica numbers n > 1 by

Symmetry-resolved entanglement in AdS3/CFT2 coupled to U(1) Chern-Simons theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We consider symmetry-resolved entanglement entropy in AdS3/CFT2 coupled to U(1) Chern-Simons theory. We identify the holographic dual of the charged moments in the two-dimensional conformal field theory as a charged Wilson line in the bulk of AdS3 ...

Gauge/gravity correspondence from open/closed string duality [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2003
We compute the annulus diagram corresponding to the interaction of a fractional D3 brane with a gauge field on its world-volume and a stack of N fractional D3 branes on the orbifolds C^2 /Z_2 and C^3/Z_2 x Z_2. We show that its logarithmic divergence can be equivalently understood as due either to massless open string states circulating in the loop or ...

One-loop universality of holographic codes

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Recent work showed holographic error correcting codes to have simple universal features at O(1/G). In particular, states of fixed Ryu-Takayanagi (RT) area in such codes are associated with flat entanglement spectra indicating maximal entanglement between
