From Dependence to Dominance: How Resource Challenges Are Empowering Logistics Providers in Europe

open access: yesTransportation Journal, Volume 65, Issue 1, Winter 2026.
ABSTRACT The interplay among actors in European global value chains (GVC) is evolving due to increased interactions with logistics service providers (LSP). This research explores the characteristics of the emerging business relationships between logistics and manufacturing companies in Europe.

Estimation of Standard Error, Linking Error, and Total Error for Robust and Nonrobust Linking Methods in the Two-Parameter Logistic Model

open access: yesStats
The two-parameter logistic (2PL) item response theory model is a statistical model for analyzing multivariate binary data. In this article, two groups are brought onto a common metric using the 2PL model using linking methods. The linking methods of mean–

Reproductive Biology and Hormonal Induction Protocols for Labeo dero (Hamilton 1822): A Foundational Framework for Conservation Aquaculture in Bangladesh

open access: yesAquaculture, Fish and Fisheries, Volume 6, Issue 3, June 2026.
A reproductive biology study of Labeo dero reveals a July breeding peak with female GSI reaching 14.9 %. Induced breeding trials establish optimal doses of 6 mg kg−1 (♀) and 3 mg kg−1 (♂) carp pituitary extract (94.7 % spawning) and 0.6 mL kg−1 (♀) and 0.3 mL kg−1 (♂) Ovuhom (82.3 % spawning).

Enhancing Precision in PISA's 2022 Creative Thinking Assessment: Toward Aim‐Directed Item‐ and Factor‐Level Analyses

open access: yesThe Journal of Creative Behavior, Volume 60, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Large‐scale assessments often involve measurements with missing data where for a given student all items of a construct can be missing by design. In such circumstances, researchers are required to make methodological decisions in secondary analysis.

Optimizing Large‐Scale Mathematical Assessments: Leveraging Hierarchical Attribute Structures and Diagnostic Classification Models for Enhanced Student Diagnostics

open access: yesEducational Measurement: Issues and Practice, Volume 45, Issue 2, Summer 2026.
Abstract Diagnostic classification models (DCMs) assess students’ mastery of cognitive attributes to provide personalized ability profiles. Retrofitting DCMs to large‐scale mathematics assessments usually relies on inferred Q‐matrices, which can reduce accuracy and diagnostic value.

A Comparison of Linking Methods for Longitudinal Designs with the 2PL Model Under Item Parameter Drift

open access: yesApplied Measurement in Education
This study investigates the longitudinal linking of dichotomous item responses at three time points, focusing on the performance of Haberman linking, Haebara linking, Stocking-Lord linking, and concurrent calibration in the presence of item parameter drift (IPD). Two general linking approaches, joint and chain linking, are examined.

Longitudinal Cross‐Classified Item Response Theory Model: Application to Longitudinal Rater‐Mediated Assessment

open access: yesJournal of Educational Measurement, Volume 63, Issue 2, Summer 2026.
Abstract Longitudinal data from repeated measurements are commonly used in social and behavioral sciences to study students’ growth. When scores are assigned by raters, they become subject to rater effects such as variability in rater stringency. Therefore, in longitudinal assessments with rater‐assigned scores, valid inference on growth requires ...
