Evaluation of the effects of chlorhexidine digluconate with and without cBD103 or cCath against multidrug‐resistant clinical isolates of Staphylococcus pseudintermedius

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 33, Issue 1, Page 17-e6, February 2022., 2022
Background – Because of the increased incidence of multidrug‐resistant (MDR) bacteria, the use of disinfectants over antibiotics has been encouraged. However, the interactions between disinfectants and host local immunity are poorly understood. Objective – To assess the effects of chlorhexidine digluconate (Chx), with and without selected host defence ...

Attachment and stress regulation in socioeconomically disadvantaged children: Can public childcare compensate?

open access: yesInfant Mental Health Journal: Infancy and Early Childhood, Volume 42, Issue 6, Page 839-850, November/December 2021., 2021
Abstract Children growing up in families experiencing socioeconomic disadvantage (SED) are at greater risk for deficits in attachment and stress regulation as compared to peers in families with more socioeconomic resources. The present study hypothesized that care providers in out‐of‐home care might help these children to compensate.

Across borders: External factors and prior behaviour influence North Pacific albatross associations with fishing vessels

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 58, Issue 6, Page 1272-1283, June 2021., 2021
Given the availability of Global Fishing Watch data, our analysis can be applied to other marine predators—if tracking data are available—to identify spatio‐temporal patterns, vessel specific attributes and predator behaviours associated with fishing vessel associations, thus enabling predictive modelling and targeted mitigation measures.

On the Carleman classes of vectors of a scalar type spectral operator

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 60, Page 3219-3235, 2004., 2004
The Carleman classes of a scalar type spectral operator in a reflexive Banach space are characterized in terms of the operator′s resolution of the identity. A theorem of the Paley‐Wiener type is considered as an application.

On the non-triviality of certain spaces of analytic functions : hyperfunctions and ultrahyperfunctions of fast growth [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
We study function spaces consisting of analytic functions with fast decay on horizontal strips of the complex plane with respect to a given weight function.

Fundamental Review on the Formulation of Large Lattics Spatial Neighbor Matrices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
application/pdfTo calculate the impact of each location within an observation area we need to calculate the dependences of that location. In order to specify the model to explain this condition, we must define the neighbor relation for each location ...

Fekete-Szegö problems for generalized Sakaguchi type functions associated with quasi-subordination [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In the present paper, the authors introduce a generalized Sakaguchi type non-Bazilevic function class Mλ,β (φ, s, t) of analytic functions involving quasi-subordination and obtain bounds for the Fekete-Szegö functional |a3 −µa2 for the functions ...

Arc-quasianalytic functions

open access: yes, 2014
We work with quasianalytic classes of functions. Consider a real-valued function y = f(x) on an open subset U of Euclidean space, which satisfies a quasianalytic equation G(x, y) = 0.

Solutions of quasianalytic equations

open access: yes, 2017
The article develops techniques for solving equations G(x,y)=0, where G(x,y)=G(x_1,...,x_n,y) is a function in a given quasianalytic class (for example, a quasianalytic Denjoy-Carleman class, or the class of infinitely differentiable functions definable ...
