Synthesis and characterization in solution and in the solid State of the palladium aryl bromide complexes [Pd(Ar)Br{(S)-BINAP}]: formation of cyclopalladated complexes and direct observation of a C-N reductive elimination to form heterocycles

open access: yesJournal of the Brazilian Chemical Society, 2004
The complexes resulting from the 1:4 mixture of [Pd2(dba)3] and P(o-tolyl)3 in benzene react with ortho substituted-arylbromides to generate in situ the corresponding bromide dimer [Pd(Ar)(m-Br){P(o-tolyl)3)}] 2. Addition of 2 equiv.

pH‐Responsive Ultrasmall Iron Oxide Nanoassemblies for Activatable T2/T1 Magnetic Resonance Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
This research reports a pH‐responsive ultrasmall iron oxide nanoparticle (USIONs)/polymer nanoassemblies for activatable magnetic resonance imaging. Amphiphilic diphosphonic acid block copolymers compactly encapsulate USIONs to generate T2‐weighted contrast at physiological pH, while acidic conditions trigger disassembly, activating T1‐weighted ...

Molecular Recognition by Halogen Bonding With Atomic Precision in a Covalent Organic Cage

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A covalent organic cage embedding a single inward‐facing halogen‐bond (XB) donor enables recognition of DMMP, a Sarin surrogate, with atomic precision through halogen bonding, while both the hydrogen bonding donor encaged analogue and the XB donor open model ‐lacking cavity‐ show no affinity.

Synthesis, spectral characterization, electron microscopic study and thermogravimetric analysis of a phosphorus containing dendrimer with diphenylsilanediol as core unit

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2010
A phosphorus containing dendrimer with a diphenylsilanediol core was synthesized using a divergent method. Several types of reactions were performed on dendrons of several sizes, either at the level of the core or the surface.

High resolution 31P NMR of extracted phospholipids.

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1988
The common phospholipids from biological sources were quantitated using phosphorus-31 nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy in conjunction with an analytical reagent composed of two parts: 1) 2 ml of reagent chloroform in which was dissolved 0.01-

Molecular identification and quantification of defect sites in metal-organic frameworks with NMR probe molecules

open access: yesNature Communications, 2022
Defects in porous materials can alter the pore structure and chemical properties. Here authors demonstrate an approach for studying defects in metal-organic frameworks using 31P NMR and probe molecules.

Proton‐Induced Perthionitrite‐Mediated Zinc Thiolate Persulfidation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A thiolate‐supported zinc thionitrite complex reacts with S8 to insert sulfur at both Zn–S bonds. Although SNO− persulfidation to SSNO− is facile, thiolate persulfidation is less favored in comparison. These thermodynamic differences between S–S‐containing moieties are also observed for free perthiolate and SSNO− anions.

Relation Between Acid and Catalytic Properties of Chlorinated Gamma-Alumina. a 31p Mas Nmr and Ftir Investigation

open access: yesOil & Gas Science and Technology, 1999
In this paper, we have studied the effect of chlorine on the surface properties of gamma-alumina, especially on their acid properties. The use of FTIR spectroscopy and 31P MAS NMR of adsorbed trimethylphosphine allows to propose a chlorination mechanism.

NHC‐Copper(I)‐Mediated Functionalization of White Phosphorus

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
White phosphorus is functionalized by N‐heterocyclic carbene supported copper(I) complexes through redox‐neutral steps. Treatment of the resulting complexes with electrophiles releases the ligands from the metal center as asymmetrically substituted organophosphorus butterfly compounds.
