Josep Comas Solà, a Catalan astronomer, discovered the periodic comet 32P in 1926, this is why its called 32P/Comas Solà. Since then in its successive returns to the Sun it was observed before and after perihelion passage and its orbit calculated. We present a study of these results to explain the history and the evolution of this comet.

Level structure of 32P from 31P(d, p)32P reactions [PDF]
Abstract States up to an excitation energy of 6.8 MeV of the nucleus 32 P are investigated by studying the angular distribution of protons in the reaction 31 P(d, p) 32 P. Single amino acid substitutions in the global regulator CodY can alter nutrient sensing and virulence regulation in Clostridioides difficile. We show that the CodY(Y146N) and CodY(V58A) variants display altered ligand binding and reduced promoter binding, leading to derepression of toxin regulatory pathways and increased virulence in vivo.

Structural Basis for Nucleobase Activation by the Adenine DNA Glycosylase MutY
DNA glycosylase MutY engages its adenine nucleobase substrate in a syn orientation with a catalytic Glu. X‐ray crystal structures of MutY with Glu replaced suggest that a disengaged “on hold” state with anti nucleobase orientation may explain how MutY avoids catastrophic activity at inappropriate adenines.
