Production of two charm quark–antiquark pairs in single-parton scattering within the kt-factorization approach

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2015
We present first results for the 2→4 single-parton scattering gg→cc¯cc¯ subprocess for the first time fully within the kt-factorization approach. In this calculation we have used the Kimber–Martin–Ryskin unintegrated gluon distribution which effectively ...

Patterns of Postictal Abnormalities in Relation to Status Epilepticus in Adults

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Abnormalities on peri‐ictal diffusion‐weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI‐PMAs) are well‐established for patients with status epilepticus (SE), but knowledge on patterns of DWI‐PMAs and their prognostic impact is sparse. Methods This systematic review and individual participant data meta‐analysis included observational studies ...

Diffusion‐Weighted Imaging for the Evaluation of the Sacroiliac Joint in Pediatric Patients

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Maturational signal in the sacroiliac joint (SIJ) of skeletally immature youth is often misinterpreted as inflammation. Diagnostic tools that improve specificity are greatly needed. Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values from diffusion‐weighted imaging (DWI), when used with standard imaging, may enhance diagnostic accuracy.
