Triangle singularity in the $$J/\psi \rightarrow K^+ K^- f_0(980)(a_0(980))$$ J/ψ→K+K-f0(980)(a0(980)) decays

On nature of scalar a0(980) and f0(980)-mesons [PDF]

It is presented a critical consideration of all unusual properties of the scalar a_0(980) and f_0(980)-mesons in the four-quark, two-quark and molecular models. The arguments are adduced that the four-quark model is more preferable. It is discussed the complex of experiments that could finally resolve this issue.

Hadronic Molecules and the f0(980)/a0(980)

We discuss a possible interpretation of the f0(980) and a0(980) mesons as hadronic molecules - bound states of K and Kbar mesons. Using a phenomenological Lagrangian approach we calculate the strong f0(980) to pi pi and a0(980) to pi eta as well as the electromagnetic f0(980) to gamma gamma and a0(980) to gamma gamma decays.
