HTFC gets 3D refractive index tomograms of flowing cells. Label‐free monocytes are engineered to express patterns of cytoplasmic vacuoles. From the tomogram, an efficient dimensionality reduction is operated. Interpretable features are extracted to classify the expression severity of phenotypes coexisting in each cell, visually represented by a seven ...

ABSTRACT In a large multicenter real‐world cohort, we aimed to evaluate outcomes of FLAG‐Ida salvage therapy for relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and validated the SALFLAGE prognostic score. We analyzed 1079 adults with R/R AML treated across 112 PETHEMA institutions over 26 years (1998–2024), including patients with primary ...

ABSTRACT There is a strong genetic contribution to the etiology of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). This study evaluated genetic testing results and diagnostic yield for fetuses and children with CDH. This was a retrospective cohort study of exome sequencing (ES) performed at GeneDx for fetuses and children ≤ 18 years of age with CDH compared ...

Lysyl oxidase crosslinking of type I collagen decreases neutrophil extravasation through an endothelium during the initial response to P. aeruginosa. This decrease in extravasation is likely due to the increase in VE‐cadherin expression between endothelial cells seeded on LOX‐crosslinked collagen hydrogels.

Natural Antioxidants as Thermal Stabilizers in Post‐Consumer Polypropylene
A synergistic antioxidant system combining two natural antioxidants, quercetin and tocopherol, enhances the thermo‐oxidative stability of recycled polypropylene. The approach addresses key barriers to the utilization of recycled polymers, offering a sustainable pathway to improve material performance and supporting the broader adoption of recycled ...

Field samples from breeder duck farms with egg‐production decline were subjected to viral detection, genome sequencing, and virus isolation. Experimental infection demonstrated that duck orbivirus (DORV) causes a significant and persistent reduction in egg production in breeder ducks.

Objective Regular imaging by conventional radiography to assess for joint damage is a cornerstone in the management of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Scoring systems to quantify such damage, such as the widely used Sharp/van der Heijde (SvdH) score, are limited by the requirement of time and experienced staff as well as intra‐ and inter‐rater variability ...
