On the decoupled Markov group conjecture

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 53, Issue 1, Page 240-247, February 2021., 2021
Abstract The Markov group conjecture, a long‐standing open problem in the theory of Markov processes with countable state space, asserts that a strongly continuous Markov semigroup T=(Tt)t∈[0,∞) on ℓ1 has bounded generator if the operator T1 is bijective. Attempts to disprove the conjecture have often aimed at glueing together finite‐dimensional matrix

Approximate controllability for a stochastic elastic system with structural damping and infinite delay

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2023
In this article, we study the existence of mild solutions and the approximate controllability for a class of stochastic elastic systems with structural damping and infinite delay in Hilbert spaces.

Study of periodic solutions for third-order iterative differential equations via Krasnoselskii-Burton’s theorem

open access: yesActa Universitatis Sapientiae: Mathematica, 2022
This paper studies the existence of periodic solutions of a third order iterative differential equation. The main tool used here is Krasnoselskii-Burton’s fixed point theorem dealing with a sum of two mappings, one is a large contraction and the other is

A unified existence theory for evolution equations and systems under nonlocal conditions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We investigate the effect of nonlocal conditions expressed by linear continuous mappings over the hypotheses which guarantee the existence of global mild solutions for functional-differential equations in a Banach space. A progressive transition from the

Convolution-type derivatives, hitting-times of subordinators and time-changed $C_0$-semigroups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper we will take under consideration subordinators and their inverse processes (hitting-times). We will present in general the governing equations of such processes by means of convolution-type integro-differential operators similar to the ...

Exact controllability of fractional neutral integro-differential systems with state-dependent delay in Banach spaces

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2016
In this manuscript, we have a tendency to execute Banach contraction fixed point theorem combined with resolvent operator to analyze the exact controllability results for fractional neutral integro-differential systems (FNIDS) with state-dependent delay (

Existence and regularity of mild solutions in some interpolation spaces for functional partial differential equations with nonlocal initial conditions

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2018
This paper is devoted to study the existence and regularity of mild solutions in some interpolation spaces for a class of functional partial differential equations with nonlocal initial conditions. The linear part is assumed to be a sectorial operator in

On an abstract nonlinear second order integrodifferential equation

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 5, Issue 2, Page 167-174, 2007., 2007
The aim of the present paper is to study the global existence of solutions of nonlinear second order integrodifferential equation in Banach space. Our analysis is based on an application of the Leray‐Schauder alternative and rely on a priori bounds of solutions.

Method of semidiscretization in time to nonlinear retarded differential equations with nonlocal history conditions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 37, Page 1943-1956, 2004., 2004
This paper deals with the applications of the method of semidiscretization in time to a nonlinear retarded differential equation with a nonlocal history condition. We establish the existence and uniqueness of a strong solution. Finally, we consider some applications of the abstract results.

Periodic solutions for some partial functional differential equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Stochastic Analysis, Volume 2004, Issue 1, Page 9-18, 2004., 2004
We study the existence of a periodic solution for some partial functional differential equations. We assume that the linear part is nondensely defined and satisfies the Hille‐Yosida condition. In the nonhomogeneous linear case, we prove the existence of a periodic solution under the existence of a bounded solution.
