Radio Interference Prediction Method for EHV AC Transmission Lines at High Altitudes Based on Long‐Term Observations

open access: yesHigh Voltage, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Radio interference (RI) is a critical factor in the design of extra‐high voltage (EHV) transmission lines at high altitudes. To address the insufficient field data of RI on high‐altitude transmission lines, the lack of adequate validation for existing RI prediction methods, and the difficulty in assessing RI levels under various meteorological

Does Parental Joblessness Matter for Children's Personality Traits?

open access: yesAustralian Economic Review, EarlyView.

Policy Evaluation for Climate Mitigations in the European Agricultural Sector—A Comparison of Policy Options at Micro and Macro Level

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The purpose of this paper is to discuss the micro‐ and macro‐outcomes for the standard neoclassical carbon tax (whose burden falls on the producers) versus the implication of a budget neutral, performance‐based EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) focusing on non‐CO2 emission (N2O and CH4, measured in CO2eq) reduction, especially in the ...

Full‐length transcriptome profiling of true bug mitochondrial genomes reveals the unique transcriptional regulation during insect evolution

open access: yesInsect Science, EarlyView.
The mitogenome was transcribed into complete primary polycistrons on both strands. The heteropteran mitochondrial transcription termination factor (HmTTF) functions as a bidirectional attenuator rather than a terminator, and co‐evolution of HmTTF and the binding sites was observed.

Tax Planning Under Pressure: The Impact of Carbon Emissions Management Post‐Paris Agreement

open access: yesAccounting &Finance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We examine how the Paris Agreement affects corporate tax planning across a global data set. We find that emissions‐reducing firms are associated with higher levels of tax planning than nonemissions‐reducing firms. The effect is stronger for firms facing tighter cost pass‐through constraints, such as operating in more competitive markets, with ...
