The Emission Spectrum of PtO between 3800 and 4500 Å

Canadian Journal of Physics, 1975
A new system belonging to the emission spectrum of PtO has been found in the region of 3800–4500 Å. This system has the earlier known X1Σ ground state as the lower state and a hitherto unknown 1Σ state, here designated the D1Σ state, as the upper state. The four lowest vibrational levels of the D1Σ state were rotationally analyzed.

Spectrum of BaH at 3800 Å

Il Nuovo Cimento B, 1979
A new band of BaH has been observed in absorption at 3800 A by using a 21 ft concave-grating spectrograph. The band has been analysed to be the (0, 0)-band of a new system namedN2Σ-X2Σ. Strong perturbations have been observed in the upper stateN2Σ. The following band constants have been determined. νorig=26299.5cm−1,B′=3.59cm−1,D′=3.41·10−5cm−1.
