Bio‐Inspired Multimodal Hardware Front‐End Enabled by 2D Floating‐Gate Memory for UAV Perception
A MoS2/h‐BN /graphene floating‐gate memory underpins a bio‐inspired multimodal front end that integrates visual, inertial, and airflow cues. A 4 × 4 FG memory array encodes temporal intensity differences, while IMU‐ and airflow‐driven threshold modulation suppresses self‐motion artifacts, enabling fast, low‐power, robust autonomous UAV tracking and ...

Molten KNO2 treatment induces a lowrefractive index disordered carbon shell on fluorescent nanodiamonds, enhancing fluorescence emission while preserving spin coherence. Machine learningassisted correlative TEMPL enables direct single‐particle resolution of this enhancement relative to air‐oxidized nanodiamonds of similar morphology, establishing a ...

Evaluating cooling and energy-saving potential of Vertical Greenery Systems based on 3D City Models: A case study of three cities [PDF]
Global cities face escalating urban heat stress and energy demands due to rapid vertical growth and densification. Vertical Greenery Systems (VGS), which mitigate urban heat by providing shading and evapotranspiration, offering a promising nature-based ...

Two pyridinium‐based ionic liquid templated hybrid manganese halides, (C4Py)2[MnCl4] and (C4Py)2[MnBr4], display similar bulk structures but show significantly different photoluminescence behaviors due to the bromine heavy‐atom effect. Their stable local Mn environments remain intact even in the molten state, allowing applications such as luminescence ...

Leveraging 3D City Models for Rotation Invariant Place-of-Interest Recognition [PDF]
Given a cell phone image of a building we address the problem of place-of-interest recognition in urban scenarios. Here, we go beyond what has been shown in earlier approaches by exploiting the nowadays often available 3D building information (e.g.

Speckle‐Engineered Upconversion Amplification in Nanoemulsion‐Templated Hydrogel Microdomes
Nanoemulsion‐confined PEGDA microdomes generate speckle‐like excitation fields that strongly amplify upconversion luminescence upon dehydration, enabling filter‐free visible readout with reversible on–off switching. DMD‐based lithography yields scalable, shape‐programmable arrays for moisture‐responsive displays and optical encryption.
