Reviewing Open Data Semantic 3D City Models to Develop Novel 3D Reconstruction Methods [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences
Structured semantic 3D city models are pivotal in creating urban 3D digital twins. The wide adoption of such models has been primarily enabled by robust, model-based, and automatic 3D reconstruction methods.

INTEGRATION OF 3D OBJECTS AND TERRAIN FOR 3D MODELLING SUPPORTING THE DIGITAL TWIN [PDF]

open access: yesISPRS Annals of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2019
3D modelling of precincts and cities has significantly advanced in the last decades, as we move towards the concept of the Digital Twin. Many 3D city models have been created but a large portion of them neglect representing terrain and buildings ...

Towards unified 3D city models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
An increasing number of municipalities decide nowadays to build up 3D city models. Often the main purpose of such a model is to support urban planning processes. However, in most cases this support currently is restricted to the visualization of virtual scenes.

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Evaluating the development of open 3D city models: a multidimensional assessment [PDF]

open access: yesISPRS Annals of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences
Adopting 3D City Index, a comprehensive 3D data scoring framework encompassing four categories—data portals, model descriptions, thematic content, and semantic information, we assess and benchmark currently available 3D city models made accessible ...

3D Building Reconstruction Using Dense Photogrammetric Point Cloud [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2016
Three dimensional models of urban areas play an important role in city planning, disaster management, city navigation and other applications. Reconstruction of 3D building models is still a challenging issue in 3D city modelling.
