Loss of the frequently mutated chromatin remodeler ARID1A, a subunit of the SWI/SNF cBAF complex, results in less open chromatin, alternative splicing, and the failure to stop cells from progressing through the cell cycle after DNA damage in bladder (cancer) cells. Created in BioRender. Epigenetic regulators, such as the SWI/SNF complex, with important

Sharing 3D city models: an overview [PDF]
This study describes the computing methods now available to enable the sharing of three-dimensional (3D) data between various stakeholders for the purposes of city modeling and considers the need for a seamless approach for sharing, transmitting, and ...

The use of 3D models as multimedia content is spreading. However, even if online 3D models have been introduced, for example in e-commerce applications, 3D content is still marginal compared to images and videos. Virtual 3D objects are not yet very popular in common place applications and their use is confined to dedicated environment, like CAD-CAM ...

Modeling and reconstruction of 3D humans
(English) Understanding humans in images has been a long-standing goal in Computer Vision. Recently, modelling and generation of virtual humans has become a popular area of research spurred by the success of deep learning, and motivated by the wide range of applications they would enable in AR/VR, fashion or the movie industry.

Learning 3D Representations from Procedural 3D Programs [PDF]
Self-supervised learning has emerged as a promising approach for acquiring transferable 3D representations from unlabeled 3D point clouds. Unlike 2D images, which are widely accessible, acquiring 3D assets requires specialized expertise or professional 3D scanning equipment, making it difficult to scale and raising copyright concerns.

Chronic TGF‐β exposure drives epithelial HCC cells from a senescent state to a TGF‐β resistant mesenchymal phenotype. This transition is characterized by the loss of Smad3‐mediated signaling, escape from senescence, enhanced invasiveness and metastatic potential, and upregulation of key resistance modulators such as MARK1 and GRM8, ultimately promoting

We identified adaptor protein ShcD as upregulated in triple‐negative breast cancer and found its expression to be correlated with reduced patient survival and increased invasion in cell models. Using a proteomic screen, we identified novel ShcD binding partners involved in EGFR signaling pathways.

Investigation of the existence of city-scale three-dimensional macroscopic fundamental diagrams for bi-modal traffic [PDF]
Recent research has demonstrated that the Macroscopic Fundamental Diagram (MFD) is reliable and practical tool for modeling traffic dynamics and network performance in single-mode (cars only) urban road networks.
