Motion Analysis Using 3D High-Resolution Frequency Analysis
IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 2013The spatiotemporal spectra of a video that contains a moving object form a plane in the 3D frequency domain. This plane, which is described as the theoretical motion plane, reflects the velocity of the moving objects, which is calculated from the slope.

Motion analysis using 3D Gabor kernels
2008 IEEE 16th Signal Processing, Communication and Applications Conference, 2008Today human motion understanding has become one of the most active research areas in computer vision. This is due to promising applications in areas such as visual surveillance, human performance analysis, computer-human interfaces (robotic interaction with humans), content-based video retrieval/storage and virtual reality.

Modeling Trajectories for 3D Motion Analysis
20203D motion analysis by projecting trajectories on manifolds in a given video can be useful in different applications. In this work, we use two manifolds, Grassmann and Special Orthogonal group SO(3), to analyse accurately complex motions by projecting only skeleton data while dealing with rotation invariance.

Human Motion Extrapolation via Motion Analysis and 2D-3D Motion Estimation
2011 Fourth International Conference on Ubi-Media Computing, 2011The 3D virtual reality is a very popular research area over the last decade. The 3D products are proposed in video game industries. But most of the 3D products or researches didni¦t use the real images or videos to generate, so we proposed a method to adopt the real 2D images to render 3D-liked vision. Our goal is to show the object like Google Map, we

On-board camera 3D-motion analysis
Final Program and Abstracts on Information, Decision and Control, 2002Estimation of on-board camera's 3D motion has been a very important technique for autonomous robot navigation and other vision-based detecting and measuring tasks. Due to the nonlinearity and continuously changing background, on-board camera's 3D-motion analysis is very complex and always employs optical flows, line matching of road lane-marks or ...

Reliability of Landing 3D Motion Analysis
Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, 2007Biomechanical measures quantified during dynamic tasks with coupled epidemiological data in longitudinal experimental designs may be useful to determine which mechanisms underlie injury risk in young athletes. A key component is the ability to reliably measure biomechanical variables between testing sessions.

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to clarify the effect of the presence or absence of upper limb movement on the propulsion direction body velocity (TPV) leaving the platform at kick start. The first trial (Standard trial) is a normal kick start, and the second trial (Lower trial) is the same as a normal kick start.
