Proceedings of the 31st ACM Workshop on Network and Operating Systems Support for Digital Audio and Video, 2021We present a study on the impact of packet loss on dynamic 3D point cloud streaming, encoded with MPEG Video-based Point Cloud Compression (V-PCC) standard. We show the distortion when different channels of V-PCC bitstream are lost, with the loss of occupancy and geometry data impacting the quality most significantly.
