Four-Dimensional Wavelet Compression of 4-D Medical Images Using Scalable 4-D SBHP
2007 Data Compression Conference (DCC'07), 2007This paper proposes a low-complexity wavelet-based method for progressive lossy-to-lossless compression of four dimensional (4-D) medical images. The subband block hierarchal partitioning (SBHP) algorithm is modified and extended to four dimensions, and applied to every code block independently.

Autonomous 4-D hyperchaotic oscillator and synchronization
2009 16th International Conference on Digital Signal Processing, 2009An autonomous hyperchaotic oscillator, which is suitable for synchronization and application in secure communications, is studied. It is based on an LC oscillator and a single amplifier biquad (SAB), coupled by means of a diode. The inductor of the resonant circuit is realized in practice by using the Antoniou gyrator circuit.
