A Frequency-Tunable SRR-Adopted Two-Pole Waveguide Filter Operating below the Cutoff Frequency
A frequency-tunable filter operating below the cutoff frequency of a metallic hollow waveguide is proposed, which has two-pole bandpass characteristics and incorporates a split-ring resonator (SRR). The tuning procedure is achieved by inserting two metal

A Wideband Beam Forming Antenna Array for 802.11ac and 4.9 GHz [PDF]
In this work, a wideband high gain 1×4 beamforming (BF) antenna array has been proposed for 5.17 - 5.85 GHz ISM band and extended coverage for 4.92 - 4.98 GHz licensed band. The key antenna performances of 13.6 dBi realized gain, 24.4° Beamwidth, 12.9 dB Sidelobe at 0° beam and ±40° beam steering capability has been achieved.

A 4.9-dB NF 53.5-to 62-GHz MICROMACHINED CMOS WIDEBAND LNA WITH SMALL GROUP-DELAY-VARIATION
[[abstract]]A 53.5- to 62-GHz wideband low-noise amplifier (LNA) with excellent phase linearity property using standard 0.13 mu m CMOS technology is reported. To achieve sufficient gain, the LNA is composed of six cascade common-source stages.

ABSTRACT Lignocellulosic residues are non‐cost, non‐edible, renewable feedstocks that can be used in polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) production. PHB is a bioplastic synthetized by microorganisms, formed intracellularly under stressful growth conditions; however, its production costs are high, representing the major drawback for fossil‐based plastics ...

Supercontinuum generation with GHz repetition rate femtosecond-pulse fiber-amplified VECSELs [PDF]
We report supercontinuum generation using a mode-locked VECSEL emitting 400-fs pulses at a 3-GHz repetition rate, amplified with a cascaded ytterbium-doped fiber amplifier system up to 40 W of average power.

Abstract Energy security and sustainability drive the exploration of innovative conversion strategies for abundant biomass waste into energy‐dense products (solid, liquid, and gaseous biofuels). This study demonstrated the catalytic potential of a coal fly ash (CFA)‐derived ZSM‐5 zeolite in enhancing biomass pyrolysis, focusing on lignocellulosic ...
