Long‐term assessment of the effect of OLR, HRT and temperature on domestic sewage treatment using AnMBR to enhance biomethane production

open access: yesBiofuels, Bioproducts and Biorefining, EarlyView.
Abstract The objective of this study was to evaluate the potential of an anaerobic membrane bioreactor (AnMBR) to treat domestic sewage by removing organic matter and nutrients while producing biogas. AnMBRs combine anaerobic digestion with membrane filtration, and stand out for their low energy consumption, low sludge production and potential for ...

Regulating Interfacial Water Structure on CoNi/MoN Heterostructures Boosts Electrocatalytic Nitrate Reduction to Ammonia

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
The CoNi/MoN interface effect induces electron transfer from CoNi species to MoN nanosheets, in which electron‐enriched CoNi/MoN interface captures K+ to form K+‐H2O, facilitating H2O dissociation to provide *H for accelerating hydrogenation steps, while electron‐deficient CoNi nanoparticles enhances the NO3− adsorption and reduces the free energy ...

A safe reinforcement learning approach for autonomous navigation of mobile robots in dynamic environments

open access: yesCAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract When deploying mobile robots in real‐world scenarios, such as airports, train stations, hospitals, and schools, collisions with pedestrians are intolerable and catastrophic. Motion safety becomes one of the most fundamental requirements for mobile robots.

Sequential Pressurized Liquid Extraction of Food Matrices: Fractionation, Selectivity, and Scale‐Up

open access: yesChemFoodChem, EarlyView.
Sequential pressurized liquid extraction separates food‐processing side streams into chemically distinct fractions by changing solvent polarity and operating conditions across stages. Lipophilic and phenolic compounds are recovered selectively, while co‐extraction is reduced.

Additive Manufactured Compact Microwave Absorbers

open access: yesIEEE Access
A high-performance, compact microwave absorber was created using Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printing. Both a narrowband and a broadband absorber were created. The narrowband absorber was designed at 4.9 GHz, mid-band in WR-187 waveguide.
